SILHOUETTE
The Mismatch Shirt is a broken poem about the improvisational spirit of "rural tailoring". Missing buttons are replaced with sterling silver safety pins, while the extended collar has been adjusted with added buttonholes, allowing it to be folded, inverted, or worn loosely. The detachable button tape secures through both front panels, and the cuffs are intentionally offset to align with the back of the hand over a fan-folded gusset.
MATERIALS
Made from 120gsm Japanese laundry-touch cotton with a crisp line-dried aspect and an ever-so-gently rumpled surface digitally printed with a custom Melting Sun repeat print inspired by Daedalus, Icarus and the Pockets of Light speech from My Dinner with Andre. Grosgrain tape webbings.
FEATURES
Aerospace Ultem® Buttons CNC-machined for unmatched strength. Sterling silver (925) safety pins fasten through discreet chest and cuff eyelets. Extended collar can be styled 5 ways. Intentionally misaligned cuff ends to match to the back of your hand over a fan-folded gusset.
