The Mulberry Silk Dupioni Basic Shirt is designed to be an everyday staple in a classic proportion. The upgrade is in the fabrication, finish and the ultra-durable twist on a conventional front closure. Distinctive finishing includes fully taped internal side seams extending below the hem to complement the central parachute button taping system.
MATERIALS
This style is made from Shuang Gong Mulberry Silk Dupioni created with weft filaments spun in double-cocoons to produce a rich irregular slub texture. Strong, smooth and naturally temperature regulating, silk is both warm in winter and cool in summer. Luxurious certainly, but sufficiently high performance that Sir Edmund Hillary wore it to conquer Everest.
FEATURES
Individually CNC machined tape-through buttons are made from aerospace grade Ultem® polymer, ultralight, super strong and naturally translucent in smoke grey or amber tones.
